AMRC is a regional organisation focusing on Asian labour concerns including occupational and environmental health and safety, social protection, climate justice and discrimination.
It works to support a worker-led democratic and independent labour movement in Asia, fighting for labour rights, gender equality, and social justice issues.
The AMRC seeks to become a strategic research, education, and information resource partner of the Asian labour movement in the struggle for decent jobs, equality, and dignity for Asian working people especially the marginalized such as women, youth, people with disabilities, people with diverse gender identities, informal, platform and migrant workers.
AMRC has developed and coordinated into a large network of civil society organizations covering social protection, labor rights and occupational and environmental health and safety in the region, with 130 members in 18 countries in East, south and southeast Asia.
AMRC believes that workers as an agency of change to exercise their rights with solidarity and collective actions, can enjoy a life with dignity, decent work, social justice and human rights.
